Sales Manager
You love a challenge! You enjoy client interaction and selling is your second nature. You already have some client base to tap into, to start you off.
The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our fast growing Sales team and be a part of our expanding energy management consultancy.
The individual we are looking for is a self-motivated and proactive sales professional to help drive our business forward.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating leads and developing relationships with SMEs, using a consultancy approach.

You will be provided with all the necessary sales support from our highly trained administration team.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting, meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Generating sales leads, by tapping into your network of SME contacts and by using social media/online research/LinkedIn. This is not a telesales role as there is no cold calling involved.
  • Identifying opportunities to cross/up sell additional products and services Focus Assured offers into a growing customer base.
  • Planning and preparing sales presentations using pre-branded MS PowerPoint templates.
  • Reporting directly to the Sales Director with weekly progress, pipeline and sales reports from SME prospects.
  • Updating the CRM system to maintain and manage your prospects.
  • Attending the weekly sales meeting, to update the team on your progress and share best practice.
Skills Required
  • Experience working in the SME environment
  • Proven sales background and experience
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to rapidly establish relationships with prospects and suppliers
  • The ability to work both as an individual and in a team environment
  • Time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint skills
The Package
  • £24,000 – £33,000 pa (dependent on experience)
  • Individual commission structure
  • Performance bonus based on company turnover
  • Additional company benefits
  • 37.5 hours per week (flexible working hours available)
  • Annual holiday entitlement of 28 days, including bank holidays + additional days between Christmas and New Year
Corporate Account Manager
You enjoy building client and supplier relationships and have keen eye for detail. You can cope well under pressure and nothing is too much of a trouble for you.
The Role

We have an opportunity for the right candidate to join our busy team as a Corporate Account Manager. You will be working as part of a team where you will be responsible for liaising with our larger customers, creating and developing strong relationships and helping them to meet all their utility needs.

As a Corporate Account Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of all allocated accounts and identifying opportunities to cross/up sale additional products/services.

The individual we are looking for will be self-motivated and proactive with proven account management experience within the energy sector (brokerage or consultancy is preferable, but not essential).

Skills Required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to rapidly establish relationships with customers and suppliers (interpersonal skills)
  • Ability to listen to, understand and respond to customer needs
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with an intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Proactive problem-solving capabilities with a positive mind-set
  • Ability to manage challenging situations, keeping a cool head and applying strong decision-making skills
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise the workload efficiently
  • Ability to work alone as well as within a team environment
The Package
  • Basic £25,000 – £30,000 pa (dependent on experience)
  • Performance bonus based on company turnover
  • Discretionary individual bonus
  • Additional company benefits
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Annual Holiday Entitlement: 28 days, including bank holidays
  • Additional days between Christmas and New Year
