Account Manager
You enjoy building relationships and providing the best customer service is your mission! You like to work as part of a team, but can also handle tasks on you own.
The Role

We have an opportunity for the right candidate to join our busy team as an Account Manager.

You will be responsible for liaising with our current customer base, creating and developing strong relationships, whilst at the same time helping them to meet all their utility needs.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating renewal business and identifying opportunities to cross/up sale additional products/services to our existing customer portfolio, in order to meet and exceed your sales target.

The individual we are looking for will need to be self-motivated, proactive and will have the opportunity to develop their role into other areas of the business. Full training and support will be provided.

Skills Required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to rapidly establish relationships with customers and suppliers (interpersonal skills)
  • Ability to listen to, understand and respond to customer needs
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with an intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Proactive problem-solving capabilities with a positive mind-set.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations, keeping a cool head and applying strong decision-making skills
  • Good time-management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment with a willingness to share and learn from others around
  • Maths GCSE or equivalent
The Package
  • £25,000 – £27,000 pa (dependent on experience)
  • Performance bonus based on company turnover
  • Discretionary individual bonus
  • Additional company benefits
  • 37.5 hours per week (flexible working hours available)
  • Annual holiday entitlement of 29 days, including bank holidays + additional days between Christmas and New Year
