Operations and Commissions Executive
You are an organised and numerical individual who enjoys learning new things!
The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our fast growing team and be a part of our expanding energy management consultancy. You will support our Head of Operations with day to day running of the department and the office. You will be trusted to handle certain aspects of the company’s operations, commissions/finance procedures, HR and projects. You will need to have some IT knowledge to act as a point of contact between the teams and our IT support company.

You will need to be self-motivated and proactive, and in time you will have the opportunity to take on further responsibilities within the department to grow your role.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Day to day running of the office, including scheduling maintenance tasks and organising contractors, stationery & office food shops
  • Assistance with basic HR tasks, including issuing and filing documentation
  • Basic maintenance of IT systems and equipment, with the support of our IT company
  • Taking responsibility of our commission system, including invoicing, data input and reporting
  • Chasing of outstanding commission payments and reconciliations
  • Assistance with CRM Data management & company reporting, including data input and bulk data uploads (good Excel knowledge required)
  • Basic social media and marketing activities
  • Occasional assistance with escalating customer queries and complaints handling
  • Assistance with creating and maintaining internal processes and documentation
  • Project assistance
Skills Required

Essential

  • Excellent verbal & written communication
  • Strong numerical skills, analytical and data driven
  • IT literate with ability to solve minor issues
  • Good organisation and time-management with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • High degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Problem solving and proactive independent learning
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with an intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to work well within a team but also independently using initiative
  • Able to deal appropriately with private and confidential information
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working within an operations/office administration roles
  • Maths GCSE or equivalent

  • Basic finance knowledge including the use of Xero accounting software (not essential)
The Package
  • £24,000 – £26,000 pa (dependent on experience)
  • Performance bonus based on company turnover
  • 37.5 hours per week

Energy Consultant
You love a challenge! You enjoy client interaction and selling is your second nature. You already have some client base to tap into, to start you off.
The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our fast growing Sales team and be a part of our expanding energy management consultancy.
The individual we are looking for is a self-motivated and proactive sales professional with energy experience and with a utility brokerage/consultancy background.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating leads and developing relationships from SMEs to large corporate businesses, using a consultancy approach.

You will be provided with all the necessary sales support from our highly trained administration team.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting, meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Generating sales leads, by tapping into your network of contacts and by using social media/online research/LinkedIn.
  • Identifying opportunities to cross/up sell additional products and services Focus Assured offers into a growing customer base.
  • Planning and preparing sales presentations using pre-branded MS PowerPoint templates.
  • Reporting directly to the Sales Director with weekly progress, pipeline and sales reports.
  • Updating the CRM system to maintain and manage your prospects.
  • Attending the weekly sales meeting, either in person or by Skype, to update the team on your progress and share best practice.
Skills Required
  • Proven sales background and B2B sales experience
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to rapidly establish relationships with prospects and suppliers
  • The ability to work both as an individual and in a team environment

The Package
  • £24,000 – £33,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Individual commission structure
  • Target based bonus

Account Manager
You have great attention to detail and enjoy multitasking! You like to work as part of a busy team.
The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our fast growing team and be a part of our expanding energy management consultancy.

You will help to provide accurate energy contract pricing analyses for new and existing clients. Working closely with our business development and client services teams, you will be trusted to handle sales administration tasks including pricing, query handling and internal documentation.

You will also build strong relationships with our clients and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of their accounts. You will need to be self-motivated, proactive and in time you will have the opportunity to develop into other areas of the business.

Full training and support will be provided.

Skills Required

  • Basic Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 depending on experience
