The Office/HR Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining a productive and positive work environment, overseeing daily office operations, and managing human resources functions. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional who can efficiently handle a variety of tasks, from managing office logistics to implementing HR policies that foster a healthy and inclusive workplace culture. The position is currently offered on a part time basis, however there may be potential for full time engagement as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workplace environment.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities to meet the needs of the team.
- Coordinate office logistics, including space planning, meetings, and events.
- Act as the point of contact for office-related vendors and service providers.
Human Resources:
- Support the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, scheduling interviews, and assisting in candidate evaluations.
- Administer onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
- Manage employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with conducting appraisals and disciplinary proceedings.
- Liaising fully with our external HR advisers to ensure our processes are always up to date and compliant with the employment laws.
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
- Address employee queries and concerns, acting as a liaison between employees and management.
- Coordinate employee recognition programs and team-building activities.
Benefits Administration:
- Setting up and administering employee benefits programs and perks.
- Facilitate open enrolment processes and communicate benefit changes to employees.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation, including employee handbooks and policies.
- 3+ years of proven experience in office management and human resources functions.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with HR best practices and employment laws.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Up to £40,000 full-time = up to £21,200 pro rata
- Bonus based on achievement of company turnover
- Annual Holiday Entitlement: 29 days, including bank holidays (pro rata)

The individual we are looking for is a self-motivated and proactive sales professional, ideally with energy experience or a utility brokerage/consultancy background, but this is not essential.
As an Energy Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating leads and developing relationships with SMEs and large corporate businesses, using a consultancy approach.
You will be provided with all the necessary sales support from our highly trained administration team.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Setting, meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Generating sales leads, by tapping into your network of contacts and by using social media/online research/LinkedIn.
- Identifying opportunities to cross/up sell additional products and services Focus Assured offers into a growing customer base.
- Planning and preparing sales presentations using pre-branded MS PowerPoint templates.
- Reporting directly to the Sales Director with weekly progress, pipeline and sales reports.
- Updating the CRM system to maintain and manage your prospects.
- Attending the weekly sales meeting, either in person or by Skype, to update the team on your progress and share best practice.
- Proven sales background and B2B sales experience
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to rapidly establish relationships with prospects and suppliers
- The ability to work both as an individual and in a team environment

You will be joining our newly established energy management department, working alongside our Head of Energy Management. You will be involved in all aspects of helping to develop the department, including research into products, potential partners and emerging technologies.
